Lucy Liu, an American voice actress producer director and performer is also an actress. Lucy Liu is a talented and beautiful actor. Many Asian actors have aspired to become the biggest stars of Hollywood. Following a string of early appearances on popular TV shows, her fame was boosted when she joined the cast of the show Legal Comedy Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. She translated her sudden popularity into big screen roles in movies like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance as Japanese crime lord, O-RenIshii for Quentin's Kill Bill Volume 1. Around the same time she was also in lead roles in some movies that were not a success at the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter. She then started voicing prominent characters in animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen characters didn't achieve successes. Southland an critically acclaimed series of police dramas that included Liu in regular roles, helped her find herself. Liu is very cautious in choosing her roles so that she is not the victim of a hugely competition-driven industry. Even though she's proud her roots, she does not let that limit her creative abilities.
