Kari Samantha (born April 28, 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American singer and actress. Wuhrer first began her acting career when she was in her teens. Her best-known character was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has three siblings. As a child She sang in nightclubs, and then went on to sing. Kari Wuhrer is an American singer, model and actress. Her acting career at Wooster school when she was thirteen years old. Her birth date was the 28th of April, 1967 at Brookfield, Connecticut. She is the daughter of a German-American father as well as a mother from Germany. Kari is the youngest of three kids. In her teens, she sang at nightclubs while slipping out to do a show. Kari was just 13 when she began her acting classes at the Wooster School. In the following years, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari began her journey into acting when she was 13 and got her big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
